This Resource Pack is created for Teachers and parents to use in the environmental education of children. In conjunction with the children's book it is designed to open children's eyes to the wonders of the home garden and the small creatures that reside in it. The pack is composed of fact sheets on twelve selected garden critters, guidance on finding these critters in the garden and looking after them, information on the effect of chemicals in the home garden, a list of home remedies for combating pests and aiding plants, how to grow an insectary and activities for kids such as colouring in sheets and critter spotting.
